After trying a countless number of times to reserve tickets from Manila to Dumaguete, I FINALLY have them!
Such a relief!
I ended up having to go through the travel agent at my dad's work to get them and they were a little bit more pricey than I would have liked, but I honestly do not care. I am getting to the island and that is all that matters. (Remind me of this when I write on here about the awful seven hour lay over in Manila.) I am just so excited! I'm getting to Dumaguete and I have an apartment and I have contacted a few missionaries over there. I am all set!

Donations!
I will be collecting donations for the 12 babies and 7 toddlers who wear diapers at the orphanage.
As of right now they need:
Diaper Pins
Cloth Diapers
Plastic Pants (I'm not sure what these are but the name makes me giggle a bit)
For general use toothpaste is needed.

A New Home
I just found out that I will be able to stay in an apartment on the site of Rainbow for $150 a month!
Its a studio type apartment with one bedroom, a bathroom, a gas stove, and a fridge. I'll have to buy a tank of gas for $6 and that should last me a few months.
So plane ticket. check.
Apartment. check.
Next thing:Insurance.

Hurry Up!
http://www3.calvarychapel.com/rainbow/about.html
Here is the website for Rainbow Village Ministries. It gives a lot of details about the facility I will be working at, and you can also look at some of the photos of children who live there. I even remember a few of the kids in the photos from when I was there two years ago! I'm getting more and more excited as time passes, wishing that these next two months would just hurry up!
